Filming in over

Now that we are finished with filming, it is very depressing. I feel like I weigh about 200 more than I do. A week later, things are better but the adrenalin rush of being on set is like nothing else. It’s hard to explain. One day the set is a vibrant, fluid, dynamic place and the next its a ghost town. Makes you wonder if it was all a dream.

Today, August 17, we are featured on FOX 5 TV in ATL. Give it a look or look for it on the internet. This week is our last week of filming and even though we are excited to move to the next phase, we are sad to be leaving our film family behind.

Latest news from Set

We have been busy. FOX 5 TV came out for a visit. A feature about the book/movie will be on soon. We filmed car stuff with the car on a trailer with camera mounted on windshield. Then off to a pool party at motel. Fun way to end day.

Youth Center

Today, August 4th, we are filming Jimmy, Paul, and Sable at the Youth Center. While Sable is showing off her skills at foosball, she reveals a secret that is shocking for both Jimmy and Paul. The make-up artist did a wonderful job with the effects.

Filming at the Church

Yesterday, August 3rd, we filmed at the First Baptist church in Newnan, Georgia. We filmed scenes in the chapel with the Winterpock family. The sermon was beautifully spoken.

Tomorrow, Aug 3, we film at the First Baptist Church in Newnan. It will be an exciting but tiring day with 13 setups for one scene.

Second week of filming

What a super week! We finished with some great scenes in the gym, locker room and library. Then production moved to the front steps for an emotional scene with Sable (Kelly Washington) and Jimmy (Chris Rivera)
